Just like the brand name which is derived from the two words "about tomorrow", AOTOMO is all about the future: future manufacturing process, future material sources and future users, these are the things this brand truly cares about.
We use recycled plastic for all our products, and give disposed plastic a second life through digital fabrication technology. Usually, plastic wastes either end up in the landfill, or get recycled and turned into low-value single-use products, which is the No.1 source of plastic pollution. AOTOMO sees the problem and tries to extend the life-span of recycled plastic products by turning them into high-value designer pieces using 3D-printing technology.
The chair "Artist" is AOTOMO's first digital fabricated furniture product, it is printed entirely by the large scale 3D-printer originally designed and developed in-house for the particular case.
